Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is most well-known for his role in the movie 'Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic parts. He's also played a few romantic characters and was in a variety of action-packed films throughout his career. He began to take an interest in performing and acting while at the age of teen and tried his luck at stand-up comedy when he was an adult. Even though his comedy endeavors was not successful but it laid the groundwork for his future acting career. In order to succeed as a comedian He was offered a position in the role of a cameraman with the local cable TV station. He discovered that his primary love was behind the camera when he was working at the station. Through a handful of episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got the role on TV. He was naturally gifted and became very popular on television. He had great goals, and made a move into film and became famous for his comedy role. His fame was further elevated by the acclaim he received for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In his later years, as a mature actor he also began to venture into producing and directing. He was awarded numerous awards and nominations for his performance in the 2014 film Birdman.
